Who We Are

Pathfinders is a small, dedicated organisation who are committed to delivering trauma-informed practice that seeks to support young people to grow emotionally, enabling them to become empowered young adults. We believe that every young person has the right to reach their full potential in relation to all aspects of their lives. We work to provide stability allowing growth for all young people that we have the opportunity to work with.

Our premises are purposely small, as we believe that we can have the greatest positive impact through personalised focused support.  Pathfinders’ primary focus is safety and protection, allowing the service to assist young people in moving from NEET (Not in education, training and employment) to EET (In education, training and or employment). This status may be achieved through volunteering, paid trial employment, apprenticeships and work experience.  Pathfinders believe that all young people have the ability to move into education, training or employment. This can be achieved as part of a comprehensive and realistic pathway plan, which has at its centre,  the views, wishes and feelings of the young person.
